Stopped in to see. Missed the tour times.
Souvenir shop is virtually empty and over priced.
No place to even get refreshments.
Walk around with the blaring noise of music from visitors I the chalets I assumed. Then my girlfriend and I were subjected to a gentleman that was as intoxicated as the rest unzipping his pants and urinating in front of us on the common walkway.
Never again

We couldnt get hold of reception telephonically so decided to drive the 35km. At first we couldnt understand what the receptionist said. When she repeated herself, we realised that we were told to pay the full fee and to join the tour that started 10 min ago. When we were told that only cash is accepted we left and got value for our money by having breakfast at cinnamon and sugar restaurant instead.

and askedto please repeat what she as we were told that we will have to join the group that have already started a few minutes ago.

We rented 2 units - a 2 sleeper which was well above the condition of our 4 sleeper. Beds and bedding great, but the unit is in real need of maintenance. The drain in the shower was badly blocked, the steps outside the unit have crumbled and collapsed when we stood on them. Some of the crockery is chipped and there was insufficient cutlery for 34 people. The fridge is miniscule and could not hold anywhere near the amount of food 4 people have for a weekend. We were unable to find an office to book the hike with the traditional healer, so sadly we missed that.

We visited the village to experience the guided tour of the village. It is well worth the visit. The tour gives you experiences of one of South Africa's indigenous cultures' historic day-to-day life. The tour is well thought out and having the opportunity to taste traditional Basotho Sorghum beer and Basotho padkos made the experience that much richer.

Very unique accommodation. We stayed in the 4 sleeper rondawel and it was very pleasant. The unit offered a heater and electric blankets for the cold winter nights. The tea and coffee and the toiletries came in very handy.
A stay close to nature
