Owner description: This 12th-century cathedral has both historical and architectural significance: Ulrich Zwingli led an important sect of the Reformation from here in the early 1500s, and the cathedral's twin towers serve as perhaps the most recognizable landmarks in modern Zürich.

Different stain glass windows to view. Feels quite modern inside. 5chf to go up the tower. There is always a queue as it's the best thing about the church. And provide great views

We climbed all the way up the narrow staircase. It’s just 5 franks....well worth it. But only payable in cash! Be aware!
Views are amazing...especially with the fresh snow we had...snow covered mountains and the lake...we would recommend!

Grossmunster propestant church (a former monastery) is historically significant for the (canton of) Zurich, nowadays serving as the most recognized landmark of the city, entrance is free (visit to the towers is at a fee), remarkable entrance doors, quiet and beautifully simple on the inside.

The historic Grossmunster, which dates back to around 1100, is a Protestant Romanesque church overlooking the Limmat River in Zurich. It is well worth visiting, but visitors should know that photographs are not permitted inside.

The view is definitely worth it. Make sure to bring cash, as they do not take cards. The staircase is very narrow, so it is difficult climbing up and down with people going in opposite directions. It doesn't take too long and there are some landings to stop at if you need to rest.
