I would have expected a bit better service for the price we have paid. Overall, place is nice with good location and spacious rooms, but wouldn't say value for money is justified.

Review of Angleterre & Residence Hotel

Not our first time in Byron's erstwhile haunt and hopefully not our last. It is an excellent hotel, the rooms are beautiful, the service is perfect, the breakfast on the terrace a delight, the pool beautiful but the crowning jewel is the view of the lake. It is breathtaking! I look forward to returning next year.

This was a beautiful property with fabulous rooms and view of the lake. Unless you are absolutely sure breakfast is included, no need to pay extra - you will get a perfectly good breakfast at the local shops and it will be much more reasonably priced. Also, if you have difficulty with steps, be sure to ask for a room in an accessible building. With our old knees and hips, getting to our building was a challenge - but the view and the room were worth the schlep.

Top notch. Highly recommended. Perfect location. Extremely clean and the staff were wonderful. In the heart of Lausanne overlooking the lake. Surrounded by wonderful restaurants, bars and stores. Amazing walkway along the lake.

The personel - especially at the reception - was extremely nice, polite and helpful. Remakable !
The rooms are very nice (maybe a bit small) and the the sliding bathroom door gave us some minor
problems..... Anyway - we enjoyed the stay to the max and will definitely come back and also recommend your place to friends and colleagues.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel in the Ouchy area of Lausanne. Our room was very comfortable and we had a wonderful view of Lake Geneva. We would highly recommend this hotel and this area of Lausanne. Very convenient for a boat ride, visit to the Olympic Museum, and the metro into the city center.
