When we first walked in here, we weren't sure what to make of it. Lots of young people wearing flip flops working on their laptops on substantial computer tables.
But the staff assured us all ages stayed here and we're glad we did. The staff was amazingly helpful with all our questions and in making suggestions of what to see. You also get coupons for a free drink per person per day.
Our room was on-par for what we have come to expect of a Marriott. We were using our free Marriott nights, so breakfast was not included. But there are numerous restaurants/bars just outside the door.
We particularly like the location - that I would describe loosely as a giant outdoor mall with bars, restaurant and stores spread around a rather giant plaza. They were all very interesting and the subway was just a 5-minute walk away (a subway transport pass is included in your hotel tax) and the Lausanne train station is only one subway stop away. Old town is right next door. So this hotel is right in the center of what you will probably want to explore!
