Arriving at the hotel we decided to take the upgrade to a mountain view room and in the morning we were greeted with a wonderfully clear Matterhorn view. The reception staff were bright and helpful, the restaurant staff definitely ‘prickly’. One poor aspect was the toiletries- sachets that were impossible to open with wet hands and fairly miserly if you wanted to wash your hair and self.

As soon as we walked in we were met with smiles and made welcome. Each of the staff that we talked to answered our questions and had a good knowledge of all the activities here. The hotel was cosy and engaging with a great bar and breakfast. The room had views of the Matterhorn and was spacious and comfortable. I would stay here again without looking anywhere else.

We really enjoyed our stay in this stylish, modern and very clean apartment.Our room on the top floor had an amazing view of the Matterhorn from the lounge window.The staff at the adjacent hotel were friendly and helpful and provided a useful taxi service to and from the railway station.The location is good , not far to walk to the centre of town but quiet in the evening.We would definitely revisit if returning to Zermatt .

I loved staying here. We felt at home. This place is cozy and comfy. We reserved an apartment with two bedrooms and they upgraded us to one with three bedrooms. There was a slight issue with the heating and they fixed right away. Also, we had a problem with the driver not picking us from the train station and we waited there before we had to get a taxi to the place. But other than the staff and everyone is friendly and amazing. Will be staying here again with no doubt.

The picture says it all. This was our view from the balcony in the suite on the 5th floor. We had a large family suite, with 2 single beds in private areas for our two teenagers, and a nice bed and living room with views of the Matterhorn.
The bathroom is large as well and even has nice views.
The place was very clean, the beds comfortable, the meals excellent, the staff very friendly, and the views breathtaking. We had dinner there one evening and it was perfect.
Food can be pricy in Switzerland, and so the free breakfast buffet was a fantastic bonus. The coffee and specialty coffees were excellent, as well as the eggs, bacon, yogurts, cheeses and meats, cereals, bread selections, as well as juice. I think it would be fair to say that that breakfast alone in a restaurant would cost you at least 35CHF per person. It opened at 7am, so perfect meal before going up and enjoying the mountains.
