I stayed here at night in the hotel-B&B and found my room and restaurant to be excellent. I am a fan of older buildings when I travel and this was one of the best ever. Nice sized accommodations with historic embellishments both in the room and at the restaurant. The service was prompt caring and dining great.
The room featured a wonderful idea of a bedroom upstairs and sitting area on the main level. The steps to the second floor were made from a very old tree with a handrail made from a long branch - it added a new dimension that I had not seen before. The entrance floor featured a sitting area that had a very old fireplace which graced the room adding depth to the history of the building - of course the fireplace was non-working.
It is truly a hotel I will never forget, such different experiences!
