We stayed in a family building across the road from reception. The building is very nice, everything is new. There is a nice play room with new toys and a micro kitchen where you can prepare formula for babies and sterilize bottles. We stayed in a family studio with balcony. The bunk bed has barrier with gate, so it's appropriate for the children off all ages, even for the babies. Very clever solution! Also room was equipped with a nappy disposal bin, very convenient if you travel with toddlers. All the beds and the pillows were comfortable and the balcony had a magnificent view to the mountains. The breakfast was nice, the restaurant has baby chairs and small play corner with lego.
There were few things I didn't like, though:
- Dinner. The choice of food in not very rich, some of the meals look like the frozen meals you can buy at Coop. The service is variable. Sometimes they take your plate as soon as you put your fork on the plate, and sometime they forget about you for ages. On the last evening we have been waiting for dessert (which was included in our half-board) for 20 minutes and then just signed the check for the drinks and left. I think they really should improve the quality of meals and service in the restaurant. Breakfast was OK, though, no problem with it.
- The door in the family building opens automatically (reacts to children as well) and immediately behind the door there is a road. You have to walk along the road (without pavement) to reach the playground. I think that it might be good to mark the area between the entrance of the family building and the stairs to the reception as zebra crossing to attract additional attention of the drivers.

Nevertheless, I liked this hotel a lot and I can highly recommend it to the families.

Room Tip: Rooms in the family building are the best for the family.

We stayed at the Randolins for 2 nights.

The room:

We booked a room for 4 with a separate bedroom for my wife and I and a bunk bed room for the kids. The rooms were beautiful with lots of space and an incredible view of the mountains. The beds were comfortable. There was a balcony to sit out and have a glass of wine on to watch the mountains or see the incredible stars at night. A great room. One of the best on our trip.

A couple of cautions:

My son stayed in the top bunk of the bunk bed which had a weird ladder made of ovals which looked cool but was very difficult to climb. He seemed up to the job but cuddling at night was difficult for the adults!

The shower leaked onto the floor because the seal wasn't very good. Nothing some towels couldn't fix.

The service and staff were excellent. Very kind people who helped at every turn.

Other amenities:

The included breakfast was excellent. We did not eat there for dinner but the menu looked very good. Because we have small kids we went to "The Piz" in town which was awesome for a family.

The playground on site was on the older side but it had a flying fox and some fun swings, etc. The kids loved it. It did strike me as a little dangerous that the hill down to the parking from the playground was so steep and had rocks but I suppose it is the Swiss Alps :-)

The children recreation room in our building was great. The kids loved playing with the kitchen set and on the bean bag chairs.

There are on-site mountain bikes and tours, etc. We went off on our own but it was great to have the amenities on site.

We did not try the spa but it looked great. For next time!

Although it is a bit outside of the main part of town it is exactly what we were looking for. It was a very well run facility with excellent environments and great staff. The value was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone though it does help to have your own car.

We stayed at this place during our participation in the race, it is quite conveniently situated near st moritz and the starting and finishing towns. The breakfast was good and they start offering since 7am which was very good before the starting of the race. We came only for the wknd but definitely we will come back again for a "wanderung" holiday next sommer

Our room here was the best we had in the whole of our Swiss vacation. Very cozy place. Unfortunately we only stayed here for 1 night. We should have stayed more. The location is so scenic that you can spend the whole day looking outside your balcony. Food was nice. One work of caution though for families - The reception is located in a different building higher up the mountain(inside the huge campus), and you will need to carry your own luggage from the reception which was a bit painful for us considering we had heavy baggage with us. Also, we were in the first floor, and there was no lift available to carry our luggage.
Since the reception is in a separate building, if we needed anything (like we asked for kettle), we had to go ourselves to collect it. Service is not there at your room, but everything is available at the reception.
Still , we enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel restaurant definitely lives up to the ritzy feel of St. Moritz. Large and spacious with big windows and beautiful views, but the rooms weren't quite the same. Hotel is nicely situated at the top of St. Moritz, breakfast was ok, and there's a free shuttle that takes you to the city center.
