For me, there is one very important factor which elevates a great hotel to one of excellence and that is the people who run it. This is a family run hotel and Mrs Leemann has put together a wonderful team who really made our first trip back after five years like a homecoming. We have not been able to visit since 2013 due to a serious back injury and we could not have been made more welcome by everybody from front reception to restaurant, porters and housemaids.
We have stayed at the Beausite Park many times in the past and would not consider staying anywhere else when we visit this amazing region of Switzerland. It is perfectly situated in a quiet and peaceful location just outside the village with lovely gardens and amazing views of the mountains. The food is exceptional and it is obvious that the dedication of the staff is as present in the kitchen as everywhere else in the hotel. The breakfast is extensive and varied and the five course evening meal is outstanding with an excellent salad bar and specialty buffets three nights a week. We recognised many familiar faces in the restaurant at dinner from years gone by; a fitting tribute to the satisfaction delivered to the guests of this warm and welcoming hotel. Spa is great, book a massage...one of the best I’ve ever had.
A big thank you to Mrs Leemann and all the team at the Beausite Park for such a wonderful welcome back to Wengen and our beloved mountains, you all made it very special for us.

We went to Wengen at the end of a European trip for some hiking in the Swiss Alps for 5 days.
The Beausite Park is a beautiful hotel just above the picturesque town. We had wonderful views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the snow capped peaks of the Jungfrau and other mountains from our balcony room (highly recommended).
Hotel staff were friendly and very accommodating. Food was delicious: since we stayed 5 nights, dinners were included and excellent, as were the breakfasts.
A great place to stay in a beautiful area.

Room Tip: balcony room with mountain view

We visited the Bausite Park Hotel in Wengen for three nights. Stunning views from the rooms, restaurant, even the pool! Hotel staff were amazing, offering assistance and warmth -- very much a family feel. Rooms were well appointed and spacious. Breakfast, box lunch and dinner was included. I am not a foodie, but breakfast offered many choices and I tried new and wonderful foods (especially cheeses), plus they had an omelet station. Lunch was a sandwich, juice box, fruit and a salami stick. Dinner was a multiple course with choices. Salad bar was amazing. Waitstaff were very flexible with menu and we continually went off menu or rearranged courses with no problem. We had fondue on the front porch one night and staff brought out utensils, wine, glasses, etc. so that we felt especially pampered. If you want a warm, family feel in a stunningly beautiful location while also getting a lot for your money, this is the place.

This family-owned hotel felt very personal the few days we stayed there. It is well equipped (great rooms/great views/great pool and spa/great food. . .we had a full board package, including lunch boxes for our hikes!) and is a brief walk from the Wengen Bahnhof. . .but, on arrival and departure, we and our baggage was transported by the hotel’s electric shuttle. It enjoys a lovely perch with fantastic views of the surrounding alps and we would go back in a heartbeat!

Room Tip: Ask for a Mountain View!!

Our three day stay in Wengen was all too short, but filled with many wonderful things to do, relaxation, and views to the valley beyond compare. This was our first stay at The Beausite although we have been to the general area every time we visit Switzerland. The Beausite made us very welcome and spoiled us with delicious meals. We chose the full board package which was an exceptional value. Breakfast buffet had plenty of choices, always delicious Swiss cheeses, as well as an omelette station for made to order egg dishes. But what really stands out, apart from the beautiful alpine scenery of course,is dinner, an elegant and somewhat formal affair. Sea bass, veal roast, tenderloin medallion with prawn, a very fresh extensive salad bar, and other courses ...plus more cheeses to sample...all of the highest quality greeted us every evening. The menu was different each evening and the selection of wines is also extensive. I encourage you to try the Swiss wine which we found to be outstanding. The delightful owner, Mrs. Lehman, presides over every aspect of the hotel to see that nothing is overlooked and guests are welcomed. She is really exceptional.
You will be forever spoiled after a stay here.
