A fantastic option for the travellers. Luxury suite with terrace is simply awesome ! Location is great, and walking distance Interlaken Ost and West stations. will definitely go back to interlaken and stay again.

Review of Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa

What a beautiful hotel! Amazingly maintained given it's 150 years old (can't believe they have maintained appliances that are so old eg radio/fridge etc). Love the attention to detail (just hope they renovate the bathrooms by the next time we visit)!. Great spacious wardrobes, love the armchairs in the room, binoculars and umbrellas in the room, very thoughtful touches. Also they have a free shuttle to/from Interlaken Ost which is handy when arriving by train.
Staff are wonderful, so intuitive and kind.
Stayed in a deluxe room with jungfrau views, worth paying extra for.
However as others have mentioned, no air con, just a fan, which did make it difficult sleeping at night, esp for our poor 2 year old.
In that regard, a mountain view room on the other side of hotel would've been cooler with the breeze.
For a 5* hotel the bfast buffet is more limited than some (eg no freshly made eggs/pancakes/waffles etc), but food is of a high quality nonetheless. And vegetarians well catered for in the restaurants.
Highly recommend both la terrasse and uno quarantino restaurants.
Special mention re Anita at the Uno Quarantino reataurant who was lovely- remembered the wine we ordered 2 days prior to remind us, paid special attention to our little one, really made our stay so much more enjoyable, so thanks.
Highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely return when we next visit Interlaken.

One of the most classy hotels I've ever stayed in. Balcony room on first floor with views towards Jungfrau. Location is unbeatable, short walk to either train station and within a block or two of large number of restaurants. Great spot for running in the morning up and down the river edge.
Room tip: Some rooms have large balconys, great for relaxing in the evening. Not all rooms have A/C.

After we emerged from the train station, and walked past the watch shops, and chocolate shops and bakeries, we arrived at the Victoria Jungfrau. It is truly grand in all of it's turn of the century glory. It's a five star experience from the moment you check in. A clerk showed us our room, which was clean and impeccably decorated. The concierge and the staff was extremely helpful to recommend restaurants outside of the hotel and other attractions to check out. We highly recommend Grindelwald for a hike and excursion. There's also a great spa at the Victoria Jungfrau and the indoor-outdoor pool is incredible. Make sure to allow plenty of time to stop by. Also, the breakfast was one of the best we had in Switzerland. I highly recommend saving up your appetite and checking it out. A range of meats, cheeses, breads and beverages. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Interlaken then this magnificent property.
Room tip: Higher floors have multiple levels and are worth the extra money for the views.

My husband and I spent 3 nights here in early July. The hotel is beautiful, our junior suite was lovely and the staff were all pleasant and helpful. We also enjoyed the spa and had excellent massages. However, there is no way that this hotel should be rated 5 stars since it lacks air conditioning in most--not all--rooms. It was 95 degrees for the duration of our visit, with night time temps cooling to the 80s. We had difficulty sleeping because all the hotel could offer us was a fan. Interestingly, when we joined up with our tour, I learned that 2 other parties also stayed at this hotel. One had the same treatment as we did: junior suite with no AC. However, the other party had AC in their suite! So, apparently the hotel has either upgraded some rooms or made other accommodations, yet chooses to lie to guests without AC and claim that there is none. Either way, it is enough for me to never recommend this property to anyone, which is a shame. The food, service and location are great but AC is a modern convenience which most of us have come to expect from a 5-star property.
Room tip: There is no air conditioning so do not stay at this hotel during the summer!!

the hotel was just awesome. the service was quite excellent . just avoid standard rooms becoz those were not upto the mark. prefer rooms with front road view. breakfast buffet was too delicious. if u r vegetarian, just make ur own food arrangements.
