The coffee is worth the trip. Rooms are regularly up-graded. The restaurants serve food that is sourced from the farmers in the area. The simmental beef must be eaten to be believed. It is tasty and tender. The cows eat grass on a meadow. The hotel is a one minute walk from the train station. The hotel is on a walking promenade - NO CARS. Lovely place. GOOOOOO and enjoy yourself

Stayed here in August `18 with friends for the Glacier 3000m Run which starts in Gstaad. Excellent location in the town centre. Train station is 1 min walk away too ! Very friendly helpful welcome on arrival. Clean ,spacious rooms with daily replacement of any used toiletries. Excellent healthy breakfast ( continental and full cooked both available ), and even a chiller with available snacks / packed lunch ( free of charge ) for a day on the mountains. Restaurant food super. Efficient helpful waiters and waitresses. Couldn`t have been more pleased with this super hotel . Recommend 101%

We were a family of five, got a suite for 3 and another for 2. The rooms were really good, pretty big with all the facilities. The TV, mini bar, coffee machines, even have umbrellas in the room. Very comfortable beds and good heating. I really loved the simple wooden furniture. Our suite room facing the balcony offered views outside. We stayed for 2 nights. The reception staff is very, very helpful. I think the breakfast options can improve much more. They used to run out of croissant bread, and we literally lived on these. :D And yes, when it costs a lot it's unstoppable that we expect something special.

This place is the nearest to the train station. Rooms are clean and helpful nice. The staff was friendly and helpful.h However it was too expensive without anything special. The food was also a bit so-so. There were flies. Not a very good experience. Pretty sure there are better places than this in the area.

We were warmly welcomed by friendly English speaking staff. We stayed in a ‘panorama’ room with a view of the slopes and distant peaks above the town rooftops from the balcony. The room was very tasteful, spacious, modern but in keeping with Swiss style. We would have welcomed a fan as it was very warm. Being Brits, we would have liked tea/ coffee making facilities in the room.

The hotel is very central - next to the train station - but nevertheless quiet, as the trains are electric and infrequent. Gstaad seemed very sleepy in the summer warmth. We enjoyed borrowing the e-bikes, included in the room rate. The breakfast buffet (local cheeses and dairy products) and eggs / bacon cooked to order really set us up for some lovely walks in the Alps. We didn’t try the basement pool but it looked very clean and inviting.

Nearby we found a Coop supermarket for supplies, and some reasonably priced restaurants amongst the designer shops l.
