I've been to this hotel on a vacation journey to Europe. The location is very good, in front of Luzern lake. It is June but the weather is still cool. The lobby is nice, the food is quite ok, the room is quite big. This is a really big hotel, and many tourist flock in, makes the hotel warm. The concierge is fast, the bell boy is always smiling. Truly a cozy hotel, but lies in the prime road, makes it a prime location.

Room tip: If you want to get a lake view, the concierge is more than happy to provide, as long as there is still available.

I visited with my family (all adults), and it is in a great location for easy walking, a beautiful view of the mountains, and a great patio to view them from. Loved the bar and piano inside, and had so much fun listening to my brother play and entertain other guests. Our room was huge with a lovely little window, and the bathroom was nice and clean. This is one of my favorite hotels in Europe!

I booked a twin room overlooking the lake with views to Mt Pilatus...all I can say is WOW WOW WOW. Unbelievablely beautiful. On checking in, we were given the choice of picking our own room which we were shown 3. Our room was very large, with a lovely balcony and good size bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, however the I found one of the staff (boss I think), in the dining area very rude and I took offense to his attitude when asked was there any more croissants. However the rest of the staff in this hotel were just delightful and made up for this one mans rudeness. They were extremely helpful on any inquiry. It is walking distrance from the train station, and walking distance to all attractions in town. Thanks for a wonderful stay and I definately hope to be back.

It's a pleasure to do business in this atmosphere. Tastefully furnished spacious rooms, excellent food, friendly and attentive personnel. Had a great view on top of that.
Unfortunately did not have time to enjoy neither the pool nor the fitness center.

Room tip: Take one of the upper floors towards the lake. Windows are of high quality so noise is not an issue.

We had booked a twin room facing the lake and Christina, whom we called after doing the booking did just that. We got a lovely room on the 3rd floor with the most wonderful view of Lake Lucerne and Mt. Pilatus.
The staff at the breakfast hall were wonderful and they had a varied spread to choose from.
After walking around Lucerne, with my family I would say that this hotel is right up there when it comes to location, budget and the service.
Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

Room tip: Ask for a room on the third floor with a lake facing view..they are wonderful.
