Last night (Friday) we discovered Kakinuma, and it was a pleasant surprise - the decor is sober, but not sterile, and the service attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the food, sashimi for starters, various sliced beef dishes as main course. All food was well prepared, the sashimi as a portion on the small dide but very fresh. However, when it comes to "authentic" it was not really convincing, certainly not the salads and rucola with the meat. There are a few more authentic Japanese restaurants in town, by my taste. The dessert definitely was authentic and therefore also worthy of the attached picture: delicate sorbet in a wrapping of rice flower of the same flavour. Sake was excellent.
