Geneva is expensive. There's no getting around that, so whilst this hotel was more expensive than we would usually spend it was still very reasonably priced for such an expensive city!
We had a triple room which was a good size. The bathroom was good, and although the kitchenette area was a bit outdated it was a nice touch to have and if we'd been staying more than the 2 nights we probably would have made some use of it. Even though we were facing the road it was still very quiet.
Breakfast was a simple continental offered to our room, but had some variety which was appreciated, and definitely enough to set us up for the day.
Everything was within walking distance, although the free transport cards offered by the city for tourists are a great touch. It was easy to get to from the airport. We stayed in August, unfortunately just missing the giant fireworks show by 1 day! This did mean that it was very loud along the lake side at night time which made us grateful we were not staying at one of the ridiculously expensive hotels there - it must have been so noisy! We could only very faintly hear this from our room.More
