Description: We're a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means "the daily bread" in French, and like our name suggests, we're bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts. At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That's why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you'll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.

I found this place on a short walk from the hotel. It opens early which helps when you are here to work. The cafe au lait was great on first two visits but not as good on the third. So I downgrade a bit for consistency. Pastries are very good. I loved the feel of the place. Service is ok. 4 stars. I will go back.

We shared the petit dejeuner with two persons plus cappuccino and one egg.
Geneva is expensive and this place is priced average.

You will get a sort of breads with
Butter and can choose from various jams and chocolate (cream, dark, white) to spread on your bread.

Comfortable atmosphere.

An enjoyable atmosphere, delicious jams, coffees and teas. Everything is just this side of being a bit overpriced. Sometimes the service is a little slow only due to the lack of servers. Now that the operation has outlets worldwide I would like to think they would provide better service and prices.

Products are quite good, organic, nice atmosphere, coffee mediocre, good bread, but price is too high.

I last went to the pain qutidien in geneva a few years ago, and remember leaving the restaurant very disappointed with the service and quality. I went there again recently and had the same impression. It feels like they employ students who stay a very short time and dont learn how to work in a restaurant. Very poor service and the food was really not that good. Nothing to do with the restaurants from this franchise i knew some years ago!
