This hotel, set inside an older residential building, has a lovely feel to it. Full of character and old world charm. The room was nicely decked out appropriate for its age, however, some parts were really showing their age. If you like all mod cons, this isn't the place for you. Utilities in the room are basic (no tea/coffee making facilities). The bathroom is probably the one thing that lets the place down. Needs some freshening up. Location was excellent and I'd stay here again.

The hotel was really close to a minimetro stop which made it really easy to get to from the train station with a heavy suitcase. It was only a 100m walk after a outdoor escalator up the hill. The hotel is also only 5min from the centre of town making it a great place to stay for the shops and restaurants.

Everything in this hotel is very old. Rooms are very dirty. Staff is very unkind and barely speaks English. Breakfast is nothing special but it's not bad. The only good thing about it is location, it's close to center.

We booked this hotel about one hour before entering it, in the holiday season so the fact that they had availability was
very convenient. Other than this there weren't many positive things to say. The location is acceptable, across the street from the electric stairs that take you towards the center. The center is actually a 20 minute uphill walk from the top of the electric stairs, so it's not quite comfortable. Anyway The hotel is very old, the rooms are dark and very classic, the showers are tiny and my room in particular was quite spacey but the television was ridiculously small. Another positive would be the breakfast, just the fact that it's included in the price. It's very simple, not a lot of variety, but it is available until 10 AM, which is quite beneficial. The hotel offers parking for 8ā‚¬ a day in a small lot behind the hotel. They gave you a key to be able to access it at any time. Considering the other prices of parking around, eight euro is not that bad. Overall the hotel wasn't very beautiful or the most comfortable, but it was an OK experience. I would probably go back if I had to

I liked this hotel! It was full of character and the owner was very pleasant. He showed us to the secure parking spot behind the hotel on arrival and then explained the 3 key entry procedure to our accommodation. He showed us our room which was on the 3rd floor and had a balcony overlooking beautiful Perugia and Umbria! Wow what a wonderful view! The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and bathroom spacious. The wardrobe was unusual and had a glass door. The clothes hung up horizontally! The furniture was old but sturdy. Breakfast was average but sufficient. This is more of a casual, family hotel for those who are not expecting 5* luxury. It's quirky, full of character and good value for money. It is in an excellent location close to escalators up to old town centre 10 mins away. I would definitely use it again!

Room Tip: 3rd floor at back of hotel great view. Main road at front of hotel
