This small, older hotel is situated near the center of the city making it within walking distance of the historical piazzas, churches, and museums. If traveling by car or a Volkswagon-sized suitcase, you will encounter steep staircases along narrow streets and in the hotel. The amply furnished room was small but so am I. The shower was clean but the size of a phone booth - don't drop the soap! All linens were crisp and clean. Room was serviced daily. Wifi was excellent. Cable TV and remote worked great. Breakfast was a typical European fare of cappuccino, meats, cheese, yogurt, and pastry. Would I stay here again - CERTO!

The location is in an interesting place. You may get lost at the first place, but you will love it after you get familiar with the place. It is in a place that you you see in the movie for typical Italian house. We love it. It is also very close to the city center, easier to explore the city. When you walk down from the hotel, a new experience can be found. We love to walk around. The only bad experience is the room is very small and the furnitures, tower are all cheap stuff. I will suggest to bring you own towel, but you are not so picky, this is really a good budget hotel.

Room Tip: Ground floor is easy access and good for 3 peoples, but sometimes, people chatting outside could be very ignoring

Excellent location right in the city centre, very good choice for a short budget stay.
The staff is very kind and helpful, offering all the needed information, we even got a convenient airport transfer which is very nice in a city that doesn't have regular public transport to the airport.
The view from the room was not great and there is only a small common balcony on the entire floor, even if it's advertised as a room facility.

Ate outdoors here and it was decent. Good pizza and the carbonara was tasty. Not too expensive and the staff were friendly and efficient. Nice beer on tap as well. Worth a visit for lunch. Would recommend this place.

Enjoyed my stay here. The location is beautiful. If your not in shape or have walking problems this is not for you. The climb to this hotel with luggage after traveling for a long time was crazy. No elevator. But still worth the stay. Last thing I would say is my Trip Advisor ap says free breakfast. Unless there was a communication problem on my part, I paid either six or nine euro for breakfast - but worth it.
