We spent three nights in this little hotel. It is in an old building on a steep hill only a few minutes walk from the centre. Parking was in the street outside. Michele and his parents who run the hotel were really great hosts. Breakfast was continental. Wifi worked fine. The rooms were clean and modernised. Excellent for a little two star hotel.

This hotel is located in a very old building in the heart of Perugia. It has been well updated inside to a good, basic, standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The fresh croissants for breakfast are really fresh and the coffee is good. The rooms are comfortable.

The signposting in Perugia is truly terrible, so make sure you get good directions if arriving by train

The best hotel I've evere been. Great personel - the owners extremly kind, helpfull and nice. They care about everything and keep the best standards in all aspects. This small hotel is located in the historic center but in reletively quiet street. Rooms are very clean. We wanted to buy some coffee to Poland. The owner bought us a pack of coffee, which he uses in breakfast and explained how to make a good one. It was more that anyone could expect. It is the strongest reason to come back to Perugia one more time. Naturally to Morlacchi Hotel. (Only I would suggest to improve WI-FI internet)

Convenient location -- close to the Teatro Morlacchi and the Corso Vanucci -- adjacent to the Universita di Perugia and the Universita per Stranieri. It is old but it is clean and furnished sufficiently. The staff is very accommodating and pleasant. I had no trouble parking on the street in front. They gave me a residential parking placard to put on my dashboard. I cannot say for sure that parking is never a problem. Getting to the rooms requires climbing stairs. The breakfast was the basic coffee, croissant and juice. For me, the location was perfect because I was attending a concert at the Teatro 50 meters away and the room rate could not be beat. Totally satisfying experience. Caveat: there can be significant noise from the street -- at night, loud conversations among pedestrians and, early in the morning, street sweepers. (Perugia is clean at the start of each day.)
You could probably find a hotel at the other end of the Corso Vanucci, near the government offices, that would be quieter, but I don't know if you could get the same room rate or the same experience.

Even if the proprietors were not nice people, it would have been a goo deal. But they are lovely and the breakfast they serve, while modest in scope, is of the highest quality. While no place in the medieval center of Perugia is easy to get to, Albergo Morlacchi is average or better. Ability to negotiate stairs is a must, however.
