Had pleasant stay here. The swimming pool is awesome, the staff is kind and the breakfast is ok/above average. The rooms a nice and clean and the car parking service works perfectly. The location cannot be much better. There is a small gym with quite old equipment.

Caveat: We got the hotel on a discount offer so I am not sure what the regular price is.

Staying at the Brufani Palace this July during the Umbria Jazz Festival with my 7 guests was truly fantastic. It boasts the best position and the rooms are devine. As the tour organizer and leader I will always be very grateful to the General Manager of Brufani Palace, his right hand and all the staff for delivering an exceptional service to all of us and for assisting me in ensuring that my tour would allow my guests to make memorable experiences. It is not a hotel, it is a “home” and you feel that from the very first moment you enter through the doors. You will be greeted so warmly and looked after through out your stay. I am sure that all my guests will return to Brufani Palace as so will I with other guests. Highly recommended.

The Brufani has an unbeatable location and we spent hours just staring out of the windows of our room, enjoying sensational views over Perugia and the beautiful Umbrian countryside. The hotel is sumptuously decorated - if pleasantly and gently faded in places - with beautiful antiques, art and furnishings. Thankfully in the heatwave, the aircon in our room was good and strong. Staff are charming and helpful. One gripe: mini bar prices are super steep, 15 euros for a tiny gin or vodka plus 7 euros for a small bottle of tonic. Lovely few days though, and we'll be back.

We had originally a reservation elsewhere in Perugia and when they told us they had lost it we showed up at the Brufani and ask for a room that same day. They gave us a beautiful suite for the price of a regular room and on the last day when we asked to pay to have the room till evening, they let us stay for free. The location of this hotel is magnificent right above the famous Rocca of Perugia with lovely views and access to the piazzas of the town. The rooms are elaborate and very classic, of course they are antique and so the furniture is not "new" but everything is very clean and the bathrooms have been newly renovated so everything works extremely well. The staff is wonderful and the underground pool is one of a kind. I can't wait to go back!
