Right around the corner from the Hotel dei Priori, we were fortunate enough to stumble upon this incredible restaurant. We had no reservations, but were quickly seated and received very attentive and courteous service. It was black truffle season and two of our dishes included them in the chef's specials of a chilled tomato soup and gnocchi, both utterly divine. The fennel salad, house pasta and lamb were also thoroughly enjoyed. The lamb was outstanding - the best tasting we have ever had in a restaurant. The sommelier was excellent, offered wonderful suggestions and clearly very experienced. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in a five-star meal that is moderately priced with wonderful local wine list.
