We came across this place when looking for somewhere for a pre-dinner drink on our last night in Siena - I just wish that we'd found it earlier during our three night stay in Siena for The Palio.
They serve some excellent and reasonably priced natural wines, plus some tasty craft beers from two local breweries. We would definitely have returned for a nightcap after dinner, but regrettably they close at 10pm and we did not eat quick enough :-((
Highly recommended to discerning wine and ale drinkers alike.

Davide and Francesca never fail to play the perfect hosts. Such a great atmosphere. The food menu is not large but it doesn't need to be - the choices are are all delicious and very reasonably priced considering the very high quality of the ingredients. The crostini is amazing and you cannot possibly just limit yourself to one order, the selection is always changing and never fails to be delicious. As someone that works in the wine trade I appreciate the thoughtful selections that Vineria Tirabuscio always offers on their ever-changing wine list. Wines that are crafted by hand by small producers and speak clearly of their origins. Always authentic and never over-priced. I love introducing friends to this tiny gem and always enjoy my evenings spent here in the best of company. Great people who go out of their way to make sure their guests have a great experience.

We staggered into the place after a hard afternoons "studying" at the Tuscan Wine School just around the corner.

Had it not been for the recommendation we might just have carried on all Dionne Warwick and missed out on a true gem of a place.

Davide was an excellent host and by the end felt like a friend. We love what they are trying to achieve by working with natural products from nearby.

If we didn't live 1,150 miles away we'd eat there every week.

ps. Anyone who can make lard and chives look and taste this good is ok by us.

Accidentally walked by on my way out of the duomo (took a wrong turn going to the hotel) and couldn't be happier to have stumbled upon it! The place is small, and there were no open tables for me. Before leaving, a kind group asked me to join them as they had a spare chair. The polenta win hazelnuts and gorgonzola cheese was rich and satisfying. I also got a half order of beef stew. The meat was succulent and put atop a piece of crisp, garlic toast. It was a perfect meal to warm me up on the cold day. The white wine was also delicious!

We got a little lost and ended up in this welcoming wine bar for lunch. I really liked the crostone with salami. Very reasonable prices too.
