My Wife and I were so fortunate to be a part of the festivities at Laura's small winery for the wedding of James and Julie. Fattoria di Fugnano is a truly magnificent place overlooking the town of San Gimignano with sweeping views of the beautiful Tuscan countryside.
Laura, Fannie, Fabrizio and the entire team were so welcoming and treated us like members their own family.
We cannot wait to return next year and introduce the rest of our family to theirs. A wonderful experience.
I cannot recommend enough that people stay here for a truly authentic Tuscan experience.
Thank you so much Laura and your entire team! You are such wonderful hosts in such a special part of the world.
All the best,
Alex and Melissa.

My husband and I stopped here to rest up after our flight from FL to Rome. It wasn't a long drive, and our Never Lost (gps) got us there with no problem. Fanny greeted us, offered us a glass of wine at check in and then took us to our room. The room was lovely, with a small kitchenette for those there for a longer stay. Fanny offered us a breakfast basket, which we accepted and enjoyed at the table outside our door.
The next afternoon, Fanny arranged for a wine tasting for her guests. We tasted 4 wines, each one paired with a lovely bruschetta or specific cheese. She had so much on the table we never went out for dinner! That evening we sat out with some of the other guests and chatted and drank wine; it was lovely.
We were sorry to leave the following day, having enjoyed the beautiful views, delicious wines and Fanny's hospitality.
To make this wonderful stay even better I would ask for more comfortable beds and pillows. Other than that, excellent!

The vineyard is nice but to stay in their non air conditioned apartment was not as nice. Could not sleep al night. Otherwise beautiful! Maybe we didnt get one of the nicest rooms since we hadn't booked in advanced.

We got lost on our way to another winery... punched in winery into the GPS and it led us to Fattoria di Fugnano. We did not have a reservation and there was a large group there for a tasting. Jocelyn our hostess, said they hate to turn people away and made a special place for us outside on the picnic table overlooking the grapes and the olive trees.

After driving aimlessly for an hour and a half.. this was like our perfect idea of Tuscany. A small family owned winery, fantastic tasting wines ( we bought several), great food to go with it and a private tour of the operation. We felt like family. Turns out our host had worked in our hometown of Ottawa, Canada for several years so we clicked right away.

Thank you for taking us in!! It was our best afternoon in Tuscany!!

Fantastic views of San Gimignano from the close to the apartments and the pool. The farm/vineyard is a little slice of paradise with beautiful views all around.

The staff are fantastic. Fanni, Laura, Fabritzio and Francesco. All very friendly and helpful. We unfortunately had our hire car stolen when we travelled to Arezzo (around 1.5 hours away). Each of the staff were involved in making sure we were OK, arrived back to the hotel safe and sorted things as best as possible with the police.

The wine tasting is also great fun. We were lucky enough to be there when the harvest started and it was fantastic to see.

We had such a great stay, never wanted to leave and can't wait to return.
