Spend two night here to visit Lucca.
Very close to the walls, so you are immediately in the old town on foot. You can park your car close, but there aren't infinite places. If it's busy, it will be hard.
Room is basic, shower, bed, airco are present but they could use an upgrade/bit of a fix.
Wi-Fi is great, in the entire hotel.
Breakfast is probably great if you like sweet stuff in the morning. There is cake, biscuits, honey, chocolate spread, jams,... I prefer a hearty start of the day, and with white toast, 1 cheese and 1 cooked ham,I don't have enough. Cold hard boiled egg and tomato finish it off.
Good, but basic in short.

Very friendly staff and very helpful in sorting local attractions and restaurants. They helped to organise bicycle hire and arranged parking for the car at the hotel. The breakfast was great with the usual cereals, meats and an automatic coffee machine. The wifi was efficient however they must have a firewall as I was unable to VPN and had to do this off the 4g network.

This is a delightful, very well run family hotel. The rooms are excellent and have all the amenities you would expect eg. air conditioning, tv, hairdryer etc. and the three most important things for me ; a comfortable bed, good shower, and kept very clean. I stayed on the ground floor so my view wasn't very exciting although this hardly mattered as I was there a school group and we were out and about in Tuscany the whole time. The real attraction of this hotel however has to be the staff, who were just incredibly friendly and accommodating, and went way above the call of duty to make our stay in Lucca a truly memorable experience. We all fell in love with Tuscany, the culture, the architecture, the food and most importantly the people are simply out of this world. We are all hoping to return as soon as possible, in fact the owner of the hotel demanded it!

Room tip: Rooms on the first floor have a lovely communal terraced area that is a great place for having a drink and enjoying the sun.

Received a really friendly welcome when arriving late during our stay in this family hotel which is situated a short walk from the town walls in Lucca. Room was quite small but new ensuite and all very clean and tidy.

I spent one night in Lucca, and despite this hotel being outside of the city walls, it was very comfortable, clean and worth the stay! The breakfast was fantastic and it had a lift inside for those with heavy luggage.
