This apartment is in walking distance to the Uffizi, the Bargello, Il Duomo, Santa Croce, the Chapel of the Magi in Palazzo Medici, Boboli Gardens, and the Palazzo Vecchio to name just a few of the museums Florence offers. Step outside the front door and you can buy milk across the street, fresh fruit and veggies from a stand in the piazza, and a little further up the street is a grocery store. In the piazza there are also multiple restaurants, and gelato is in no short supply!
The beds are extremely comfy, with fresh white sheets and towels. There's a washing machine and dryer, separate dining room, large living area, and even an office area that opens up to the square where the voices of Florence, and smells of cooking, waft up through the gorgeous ancient doors that overlook the piazza. I immediately took over this spot as my writing den.
In all honesty, I'd rather keep this hidden treasure to myself, because I know the apartment will get booked out quickly, and I want to go back again soon! Can't wait to get back to Florence and this wonderful apartment!
I booked this apartment for 12 nights for my travelling companion and myself. It's very comfortable and eell appointed. It's also in a great location with a walk to most things. We both enjoyed staying there ver much. My only criticism is that thete was no toaster or kettle.
Absolutely beautiful apartment combining raw historical walls with modern and comfortable interior. Thoroughly renovated and furnished with great design pieces. Everything high class and very clean.
Walking distance to the historical sights like Uffici, Duomo, Santa Croce, Ponte Veccio etc. lots of Restaurants and Bars around and supermarket as well close.
Appartement had everything you need and was just stunning.
We loved it!!!
Stunning apartment, beautifully designed and lovingly maintained. Fantastic central location and ideal in every respect. Florence is unbelievably beautiful and our stay in this apartment has made the experience even better.
Few places I have ever stayed in my life compare to what Susanna has created in this medieval tower. The space and decor are incredibly interesting, even fun. However, comfort has not been sacrificed. Though form may at first glance appear to be king, settling back into the sofa or bed; or preparing or enjoying a meal; or showering, one quickly realizes that function is the secret master. Let me assure you that every last single detail has been addressed, to a nearly stunning degree.
The location of the apartment is perfect. Whether it's the Uffizi, the Bargello, Piazza della Repebblica, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, or one of the thousand amazing restaurants that Firenze has to offer (including hands-down the BEST gluten-free bakery I have enjoyed and the best sandwich my wife has ever had); at Susanna's apartment you are no more than a ten-minute stroll away. This, all while feeling a sense of privacy and solitude that is welcome after dealing with the seeming throngs of other tourists (even in February).
I cannot more heartily recommend a stay at this magnificent apartment. When my wife and I return to Florence, we would not think of staying anywhere else. Thank you, Susanna, for creating such a masterpiece of design into which you obviously put so much love. Thank you as well to Giorgio who was incredibly helpful in orienting us to both the apartment and this Thanks magical city. Grazie mille!!!
