This spot was recommended by the Airbnb owner, and it was great. We got the Divol, Fiorenza & C’est La Vie pizzas and shared. All were great, and the olio picante is highly recommended. The house Chianti paired well. There were numerous pasta specials which also looked very enticing. The only downside was the slow service. It was understandable since it was only two people running it on a busy night, but it was often difficult to get their attention. Moderate pricing and hearty portions made it well worthwhile.

Our hosts recommended we eat dinner here. The waitress spoke english and was very friendly. We had the charcuterie board with various meats and cheeses as an appetizer. I ordererd the crab stuffed ravioli and my wife had the seafood linguini. Both dishes were very fresh and tasty. For dessert, we split a piece of the tiramisu cake. It was very good. I would recommend this place for quick and reasonably priced meal.

Was pleasantly surprised, we live in the neighborhood and this restaurant has passed through many hands. Food was good and menu was perhaps a bit too extensive. The main issue was it was very hot - they have the AC on but keep all the doors open and people are eating pasta and pizza so it was very humid, they opened a window behind us but it only made it worse. Lots of fanning and wiping of foreheads. That really made the evening a bit unpleasant.

C'est La Vie was about a 30 second walk from our lodging, just right on our first night in Florence after a long travel day. Great menu. No problem finding something to your liking. One of the better selections of beers (three) on the menu as compared to most of the restaurants in Florence.

This restaurant was recommended by our hosts. The lady (manager?) spoke no English but was charming and very patient with my Italian. The room is light & airy. The menu is varied and the food delicious. We had dinner there twice and we would thoroughly recommend you try it.
