“Garden Terrace”
Reviewed 27 May 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Large 2 bedroom apartment with terrace, very clean. Stefano and Andrea were very helpful. A quiet location a little outside of the city but there is a bus close by. Since we had early tours booked we needed to travel by taxi, about $8.00 to $15.00 Euros to the train or bus station.

“Lovely apartment in pretty residential area”
Reviewed 23 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Lovely basement apartment, just as described and shown in the photos - very comfortable! Andrea and Stefano were great hosts. Plenty of pots+pans; if you're arriving on a Sunday there is a big Esselunga supermarket at Le Cure, 15 minutes walk away, that is open until 8 pm (plus several smaller supermarkets nearby open Monday-Saturday). Watch out for the tortoise, especially if you're out after dark - he(?) likes to sleep at the bottom of the steps! Also, you'll need insect repellent even in October.

The apartment is about 30 min walk from the town centre; local buses are also good.

I'd thoroughly recommend this place to anyone visiting Florence who is looking for a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle but within walking distance of the main attractions.

“Exactly as hoped for ”

Firstly, this home is exactly as presented. The pictures are an excellent painting for you to imagine yourself there.
Our host was pleasant and courteous and available if needed. The home was clean, comfortable and is in a quiet residential area.
Buses to the city are close and coming home after a long day drop you very close. The area of Le Cure is a great area with great local shops (including supermarket), restaurants and a small local market which seems to be open each day (check that though).
I really loved this area and felt safe to wander around at night. And I loved this home - hope to return again.

We spent a wonderful five nights here. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, attractive traditional furniture. We loved sitting out and eating on the terrace morning and evening. Friendly and helpful owner. Convenient bus ride to city centre. Old district of the city, shops and nice restaurants in walking distance. Spacious apartment, peaceful location.
