The location is central to historic Florence. On the other side of our lounge room wall was the Vasari Corridor which runs from the Pitty Palace, (past our lounge) over the Ponte Veccio (old bridge) to the plaza across the river. The apartment is on the third level with a nice balcony and serviced by a lift/stairs and there is a small well stocked supermarket down below on street level. Due to the historic nature of the street and surrounding buildings it can be a bit noisy at night. The apartment didn't have WiFi or a television, but there are plenty of small cafe's who for the price of a coffee will allow you to use their WiFi. The owner Astrid is very helpful.
