This was a beautiful apartment to stay in. It was very homely and comfortable with everything we needed during our stay - plenty of space and privacy. Alberta hired a travel cot for our baby (we paid but she arranged it for us.) The location is wonderful so we were only a relatively short walk away from the sights including the Duomo and the market. There's no shortage of bars, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance.
This apartment is perfectly placed, close enough to be within walking distance of all the city's places of interest, but far enough from the center to be quiet and for the nearby shops and cafes to reasonably priced.
All the rooms are of a good size and much larger than a typical holiday apartment and everything you might need for a self catering holiday is provided. The level of security is very high and the off street gated parking area is a definite bonus given the narrow streets and level of traffic.
The apartment is on the top floor, but if you don't like climbing stairs there is a lift.
Ideally this apartment is suited to a group of adults, rather than families with young children as it set up as a home, complete with a lot of ornaments and artwork.
Air conditioning is not available in all rooms, so if you do not cope well with heat it may not be suitable for a visit in high summer. But it was fine in early June and windows could be kept closed in the evening which is advisable as Florence does have some mosquitoes.
All in all, an excellent, spacious, quiet and comfortable base from which to explore Florence.
We stayed at this apartment for 5 nights in July. It is very conveniently located, just a sort walk from all the sights with many small restaurants and a great gelato shop nearby. We even found an 'Escape this room' just down the street, which the teenagers loved.
The apartment is well equipped and the private, off-street parking was also a huge plus. The fact that our 2 teenagers could each have their own room and have space to spread out was great. Alberta met us at the apartment as arranged, explained everything and gave us some great tips for sightseeing etc.
The only negative was that the apartment is very hot this time of the year. The 2 mobile aircon units can't be moved around and is very noisy - as one is in the main bedroom, it made sleeping difficult. Turning it off isn't an option as open windows let in street noise and mosquitoes. The roof fan in the twin bedroom and the small fan in the single bedroom didn't really help.
We would stay here again, but not in high summer.

Large and clean 3 bedrooms apartment, with all facilities and amenities to a confortable 5 adults stay in Florence. It's near to small supermarkets, wine and grocery stores and just 15 minutes walk to the historical center - even had a place to park our rented car (Florence is a city with many restricted parking area).
Very kind and attentive owner (special thanks to Signora Alberta Zuffanelli).
