We stayed here for a week on our honeymoon. It is a little converted chapel with a bedroom, bathroom, lounge and little kitchenette and we found it very comfortable and very unique, there are some wonderful paint effects on the walls and ceilings .

Pia the owner is delightful and welcomed us with a homemade apricot tart and bottle of wine waiting for us in the kitchen. She took us in her car to buy bus tickets from the newsagents, as you cannot buy tickets on the bus, nothing was any trouble for her. The bus stop is about a 10 minute walk through lovely fields.

You can book a cookery lesson with Pia, she can make you a tuscan meal, which we had, at it was the best meal we had in Italy. Pia lets you use her private garden to sit out in in the evening.

A lovely stay in a unique building. We would stay again. I believe she also does B&B in her house attached to the chapel.

Home away from home! Pia and Guido (the proprietors) went above and beyond to ensure our trip was a success. Pia greeted us at our arrival with a basket of fresh picked cherries. Pia offers Italian cooking lessons and it is worth it. My husband and I loved every minute of our stay. Our favorite restaurant in Italy is just a short walk away. You must try Trattoria Osvaldo...the best! We stayed here and took daily roadtrips to the different wine regions. You are still close enough to the city that you can be in the center of Florence in 20 minutes by car. You can contact Pia directly if you search for the Chapel Strozzi's website. This is truly a one of a kind place to stay!
