This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. All of the other reviews say most of what there is to say. I would only add the anything we asked of Umberto (spelling?), one of the owners' sons, and the wonderful concierge Monica was addressed immediately with results beyond our expectations. We were really made to feel like family.

Located next door to Gucci museum. Piazza della Signoria has lots of activities through out the day. Just behind the Uffizi museum. Hotel room was great. Complementary access to drinks. Breakfast was very nice. Ask for fried eggs if continental breakfast is not your liking. The owner and manager as well as the two assistants who cook and clean were very nice. Will definitely go again.

Room tip: get room facing the piazza. Nice to see activities at nice

We stayed in May for 4 nights on the top floor which had an elevator to the top. The room had a nice view and was quite large, basically an apartment with room for all 3 of us. The family was so helpful and sweet. One night, we wanted to go buy a bottle of wine and have our dinner at the B&B. They told us not to worry and prepared us a small plate of cheese and meats and gave us a lovely bottle of wine. We enjoyed breakfast in the communal room each morning where they would prepare eggs how you liked and a variety of pastries. It is situated so close the piazza and incredibly close to Ponte Vecchio or anywhere you would want to go in Florence. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 7 nights in May at his very nice B&B. It was bulit circa 1300 and has some original frescos in the rooms. It may be the best location in Florence overlooking the Piazza della Signoria: most of Florence is in walking distance .It is family owned and 2 of their sons work there every day. They have 4 employees that have been there for years that are like family and they are the nicest people that love to talk about Florence and Italy. Monica is super helpful in arranging fabulous things to do, including getting in hard to reserve local resturants It was a great experience.

Stayed here with my daughter three nights. Florence is such a walkable city anyway but this hotel is located right next to the Uffizi in the busy and beautiful Piazza Della signoria. Easy walk from train station
We were allowed to check in early and they happily stored our bags for our late train the night we left. Great places to eat very near by as well.
Super accommodating and pleasant management.
Very nice communal breakfast
Our room was very quiet. beautiful bathroom and a jetted tub. Don’t bother aging extra for a “view” —.
Would definitely stay here again
