The most outstanding highlight of this Hotel is the Staff....friendly helpful efficient and happy. The room serviced daily and exceptionally clean with superbly soft towels. Breakfast continental and adequate. A very comfortable lounge area with WiFi to rest after a day of walking the cobbles ! Located walking distance to everything including a brilliant authentic food hall and market. A very relaxing experience not always found in Italy.

We spent a lovely three nights at The Botticelli, our choice because of its location and affordability. It's a very easy walk from Santa Maria Novella train station and close to The Duomo.
We had a room on the first floor which although small was very clean with comfortable beds and an adequate bathroom. You get used to small rooms in Europe after travelling a while. We slept very well and weren't bothered by any outside noises but noticed that some noise travelled from the neighbouring room. Our room was cleaned daily and lovely large, fluffy fresh towels were always waiting for us when we returned from our days sightseeing.
The reception staff were lovely and helped us to organise a tour even arranging for us to be picked up from the hotel.
Breakfast was ok - all the usual items you come to expect from a continental breakfast and served in a nice large room. Our stay at The Botticelli had many good points with only one thing that annoyed us - the wifi is terrible in the room but works while sitting in the reception area.
It's good to note that the hotel also has a lift and is close to some good restaurants.

Just had a lovely 4 night stay at this hotel. We stayed in room 101, the room is average for a 3 star. Clean and comfortable, free WiFi and safe. This room is noisy, you will be woken early so take ear plugs or request a room at the back of the hotel. Breakfast adequate. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Location is perfect. We booked a day tour of Tuscany with walkabout tours, reception will do this for you and can highly recommend. This was a full day with a great tour guide. Florence is beautiful you won't be disappointed.

It`s a central located hotel,10 min from the train station, the Duomo,S.Maria Novella, piazza S.Marco, piazza S.Lorenzo and piazza de la republica.About 10-15 min from the Uffizi Galerie and Ponte Vecchio ,and 20-25min from the Pitti Palace, and piazza S.Spirito.I suggest you go on foot than using any city bases, cause like this you will enjoy better the city.
The hotel it`s easy to find it,by taking the via Nationale, turn on your right to Chiara, pass from piazza S.Lorenzo and finally turn on you left to Rosina and you`ll see it in frond of you. It`s a 16th century restored mansion, with efficient lobby and reception desk.We had a warm welcome from a short haired lady with glasses(sorry i can`t remember her name! :) ) that helped and guided us well through our stay.Thank you!
Breakfast was an experience i wouldn`t want to finish! The european breakfast buffet had everything with a touch of Florence.Yellow cheese, ham, bacon,Tuscany cheese, jams, butter, cream of cheese, variety of breads, boiled eggs, fresh fruit salad, variety of cereals, milk, juises, banana pie, apple pie etc..There will be Maura(thank you !),a lovely and always smiley waitress to ask us what kind of coffee or tea we would like!
Our room, though it wasn`t with a street view, it was clean and bathroom too.Thank`s to our floor chambermaid Angela, everyday we had fresh and clean towels and our room was tidy.
Generally great experience. We stayed 4 nights, enjoyed our time in city and stayed satisfied and impressed. We will come back!

The hotel has all you need and if you want to be in the heart of the action, this is perfect! It sits right outside the San Lorenzo Market....the good and bad of this. It is not a peaceful setting and coming from a night in Assisi, this was a bit of a shocker! Still, the staff was very hospitable nod we enjoyed our time at Botticelli.
