We took the 2 bedroom apartment, it was not that hard to find. The neighborhood is safe and you can walk to the major attractions. The apartment is spacious but there are some things that could be better. There is no privacy, the bedrooms are connected in a way, even the bathroom is not totally closed...but if you are a group of friends that won't be a problem.well...it's not that bad, but I wouldn't stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights, excellent location, great views right next to duomo. Was noisy one night but enjoyed hearing young people having so much fun! Can use ear plugs if needed. Nice to have a living area, very comfortable!

To be clear this is the large Duomo apartment on the second floor with 4 bedrooms and a studio. It is literally opposite the Duomo #2... a wonderful location convenient to everything. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped... with a washer, crib, highchair and hair dryer. And the property manager brought us a stroller for my toddler grandson to use. But there were few things that have to be fixed: 1. It needs more lights! Bulbs and fixtures were missing and it was much too dim in many of the rooms 2. They need screens on the windows! There were a lot of mosquitos and we all got badly bitten, especially the children. I suggest you ask if these are fixed. ..or keep the windows closed.

My husband and I arrived at the Duomo apartments and found the entrance door to be locked, despite being advertised to be open from noon onwards. Finally the door was opened and our room was not yet ready. We were told to go have lunch and come back.

Once in the apartment, it looked nothing like the advertised pictures, had no view of anything, as the 'windows' were actually small air holes in the wall, and renovations were still being done throughout the building.

Whilst we could not hear the renovations going on, we certainly could hear the sound of ambulance sirens throughout the day and night whirring nonstop, as we were located right near the Florence hospital. In addition, the square in front of the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore (Duomo) is a popular night hang out spot for the loud and rowdy youth of Florence.

Not a restful stay at all, and not worth the price.
