Sometimes words are not enough to express what you feel.. Our stay will never be forgotten and the whole world feels warmer and better now!
It feels we have a home in Palermo and it's always there waiting :)
So beautiful!

We had just one night in Palermo (arriving late by ferry, walking to the B&B, then departing the next afternoon by rental car from the airport), yet La Casa di Zoe was a delicious stay over. The proprietor, Gerino, is attentive; he made our late arrival easy and helped with questions about getting around (e.g., from the commercial port to the B&B, from the B&B to the airport). The room was charming—antiques, pretty, clean, comfortable, and value priced. Breakfast was fresh croissants, jams, yogurts, coffee. We were sorry we could stay only one night! La Casa is conveniently located near the Quattro Canti (old town center) and is a short walk to the central railway station. Highly recommended.

TIP: Grimaldi Lines Salerno-Palermo – Long and tedious - We had thought this 10-hour ferry ride would be an adventure, pretty, memorable—but instead it was long and tedious. The ship was tired; the only views were water views—through cloudy windows; though traveling during the day, many of the passengers reclined in make-shift beds on the floors; the food was poor to fair…. Still, the price was reasonable. TIP: There is apparently no need to pay extra for a Pullman seat; we spent the entire time in the lounge area (brighter and nicer).

Gerino's BnB truly is a little gem in Palermo, just as he is himself! Me and my boyfriend stayed at La Casa Di Zoe for two nights in March, and even though Gerino wasn't there to welcome us in person, he couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Because his best room was free, he literally gave us an upgrade and let us stay in the suite for the same price, we were offered breakfast even though we overslept breakfast time and we were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel between check-out time and our train's departure. La Casa Di Zoe is absolutely clean, furnished with a lot of taste and care, breakfast is served in a lovely little dining room, there is a computer for free use and comfy fauteuils all around. It really is in the centre of town and close to the trainstation. Gerino is a great BnB owner, he is always available if you need help and wonderfully flexible. I absolutely recommend his Bnb!

Great place with central location. In the centre and not too far to walk from the train station. Clean, comfortable room; nice breakfast. Soundproof windows, balcony; the building had a lift which was great as it was on an upper floor.

The room was clean, large and charming with its old-style furniture. The bed was fine. Very good isolation from the noisy street.
the bathroom is new.
the breakfast was simple, but good, with fresh croissants, marmalade and butter, tea, coffee, etc.
The street entrance and hall looks a bit strange as it is old, but the B&B itself is really nice.
There is an old lift (remember to close the doors preopperly at all times, otherwise it does not work!!).
The owner is really friendly and helpful, a natural host.
