My partner and I stayed 7 nights at the B&B Maxim. Max, the owner and host, picked us up at the airport when we arrived and drove us back upon our departure from Palermo. His B&B is located on the 6th floor (elevator). Our room was clean and comfortable and relatively quiet. The breakfast offerings were extensive and very tasty. Max, whose English is very good, offered suggestions about places to visit and about places at which we could eat. We tried four of his suggested restaurants during our stay and were not disappointed by any of them. In particular, Acanto, which is only a few blocks from B&B Maxim, served (slowly!) very good, very creative good -- one of the best meals we had during our 2+ weeks in Sicily. Thank you, Max.

We stayed in the small appartment in B&B and it was perfect. The rooms are nice, modern and confortable. The most clients are businessman-woman. Maxim's mother give us the most warm welcome, she was realy charming! Street really busy so do not take the room at the street side.

Room Tip: Do not take the room with the street side

Loved staying here, so clean so new and our host was so helpful. Building has a lift too. Breakfast really nice. Palermo is a wonderful city, so much to see and this B&B is perfect for transport or walking everywhere. It is a taxi ride from the station but not expensive ride.

I had two peaceful nights at this well-run B&B, and I was very pleased with both the decor and the hospitality offered by its friendly proprietor Massimo and family. For a variety of reasons, Palermo can be a chaotic and overwhelming place to visit. What one wants as a visitor is lodging that offers a refuge of calm, with people who can help you negotiate the details. I found them both here, in abundance.

I thought the design of the rooms (and I was given a tour of several, all of which differ) was in impeccable good taste, with modern furnishings and peaceful color choices. It was obvious what personal pride Massimo took in the interior design. All the in-room electronics were in good order, with a large screen digital TV, an easy-to-access WIFI network and excellent air conditioning--a non-negotiable item for me in Sicily. My room had a generous balcony which offered views down to the harbor. All the bathroom fixtures were modern. I found the property very quiet and the comfortable bed helped insure a good night's sleep

The central location is perfect for visitors, and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping very near by. A continental breakfast is served in a tasteful common room.

Palermo is colorful city in south Italy, exactly situated in Sicily! Great island...no comment!
The city have a lot of good things, sicilian food, pure mediterranean feeling, the Mondello beach side and many more... but to be really honest the urban admin of Palermo have many things to do about the cleanings of that all. Really not nice for tourists & maybe for the Sicilians...

Anyway, back to the best experience during this stay, the B&B MAXIM is a great Diamond close to via Roma and the perfect stay for everyone! A touch of class in every detail inside the B&B, really a fab stay...

The guest relations are simply unique, exactly the owner MASSIMO are a real genle-guy with style & class made in Italy.

GREAT, i'll be back soon at MAXIM!
