Hi! I've been in this hotel for a long weekend in June 2016 during my daughter's wedding.. It's in a good position, close to the city center, clean and the staff really kind and polite. Delicious breakfast!!

We were surprised by relation price-quality: excellent!!
Plenty of space in our room, good beds, very clean.
The hotel is modern behind an old façade.
Very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful staff.
And last but not least: breakfast is super.

Room tip: in the center of the city and yet quiet

The hotel is very good placed in the old town. Everything is near. But be careful if you travel with car.on the web site I got the hotel, is was announced "with parking". But they do not have there own parking. They have a arrangement with a private garage which cost 15 euros per day. Wè also had problems with the room. The first night we got a room with a window near on the top of the ceiling with a view to no where (situated just in front of a wall). The air conditioning neither was functioning. The 2 day they changed our room to a new one on the third floor (neither they have lift). The room had many damp on the ceiling. And a strange smell. Beds where very uncomfortable.

The staff is great. Very helpful and kind. Breakfast was very good.

Dear Guest
Thanks for your review, although in reality does not match a lot with what you asked for in hotels, namely that, from the room, you felt the noise of an air conditioner, not because it did not work, in fact it works perfettamente.Per give you peace of mind and vision there we spotato dispnibile in the only room on the third floor, where there is no type of mold or anything, but it is definitely easier to smoke from the lower window even if it is clear that it is forbidden in the entire hotel.
About the parking, we have three available, one is 15 € but you should also say that there is a person who collects for you the machine goes to the park and back in front of the hotel when you want, in the second € 10, which you can get to you and you are even autonomio the square in front of the hotel which is free of charge but of course free and unguarded.
cordially

This was a lovely hotel.....in a central location....yes it was down a back street, but it was in central Palermo so to be expected......the rooms were clean, and had all facilities advertised....breakfast was a buffet style with a variety of foods both local and international so no complaints there and as much coffee as you can drink. Everything worked as it should, the staff were helpful, and lovely outside space for smokers.

Room tip: In a quiet street off a main thoroughfare.....didn't hear a thing at night despite the street market going on till the early hours

We stayed at Hotel Columbia for 1 night after arriving late into Palermo. Due to a delayed flight we made it to the hotel around midnight. The receptionist was very friendly and carried one of our cases up to our room on the 3rd floor as there's no lift.

Our room was comfortable enough with air conditioning and an en suite shower room.

The streets around the hotel were still bustling but inside our room you couldn't tell so we got a good night's rest.

In the morning we headed down to the breakfast area which doubles as the main lobby. On arrival we were offered tea, coffee, etc and directed to the buffet area which had a savoury table, a sweet table and one with cereals. Although not high quality there were ample things to choose from.

All the staff we encountered were really friendly and it was a pleasure to stay here.

Great value for money and would definitely stay here again.
