We have stayed at Castello D'Urso Somma on several occasions. We discovered it via Trip Advisor last year and stayed there for a whole week. It was the most beautiful, relaxing holiday we had been on and we loved it so much, that we recently celebrated our wedding there! It is the most welcoming, charming place we have ever stayed at, Santuzza, Francesco and the rest of the D'Urso Somma family did everything they possibly could to make us feel welcome. It is the kind of place we will continue to visit for years to come and we will always cherish the memories it has helped us create. Oh, and it has THE BIGGEST AND BEST swimming pool!!

We only stayed one night at this delightful spot. We were greeted so warmly that we instantly felt at home. We were able to buy dinner there as we arived late in the day and we were leaving early the next day and had no car so didn't want to venture far away. Our room was very comfortable and the expansive grounds were available to us to wander in. It was not warm enough for a swim but the huge pool looked very inviting. We were able to arrange an airport transfer with the owners even though it was very early in the morning. Thanks to the lovely staff, Santuzza, Francesca and Esther who couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

We originally booked 2 nights but thanks to the Icelandic volcano, we stayed 5 nights but that was a great bonus! The accommodation is great and perfectly situated if you don’t need to be in hustle bustle of the city center every day!. We had a lovely view room which was quiet and comfortable.
The “help yourself” Breakfast was a smart idea. Santuzza and family are very relaxed, friendly and helpful hosts and their team very good. Highly recommended.

Fantastically relaxed and friendly environment.
I read a review on Tripadvisor before I travelled - I'm not sure what went wrong when the reviewer stayed, but I have no complaints about my stay.
We stayed in a large, comfortable room. Santuzza was always on hand with tips and advice, and is generally just a really lovely, cheery person who took a real interest in our stay.

Don't be impressed by the castle pictures, you are not going to stay there, the B&B is actually in another building. The room was very average, and when we returned from dinner, there was a terrible smell in the room which came from the bathroom, and there was no one to tell him about itso we had to sleep with the smell. The breakfast was the poorest we had on this trip. The owner was really nice and even came to wake us up in the very early morning. Comparing to other B&B it was much over priced.
