A very lovely small B&B-style hotel located in the center of a traditional (i.e., not touristy) Sardinian village near Oristano. What makes it so special is the phenomenal attention to detail in the property and its decor. Every aspect of this traditional enclosed house compound has been completely renovated with authentic antique flavor, but in a manner that is tastefully modern and comfortable. Rooms, sitting areas, courtyard, and lounge are serenely peaceful and a real delight to have the opportunity to use. Dinner in the courtyard was a great experience.
Staying in town of Riola Sardo was also quite memorable. At first sight it is not particularly much to see, but after staying there for three days, we were sad to leave. The town, and the Lucrezia, make you feel somehow connected. The town and its neighbors are in the center of the vernaccia wine region, and its location is central to exploring the several interesting beaches of this region. As others have mentioned, the in-town Pizzeria is excellent, and gives one the opportunity to experience local life.
