Good restaurant near the harbour in Cagliari. The staff is amazing. The food is very good and the prices is good. For 70 euroes you can get 2x300g beef, 4 side orders, a bottle of wine and a bottle of water for 2 persons.

We found it difficult but it is one of the best places in Cagliari to eat steak.reasonable prices and friendly staff.Recommended.Excellent pork ribs.

Followed a lot of advice on google reviews, raving about this place but was left disappointed!
We ordered a starter of the mixed combo of taco chips with pulled pork, beans, and onion rings. These arrived quickly but were tepid at best, and the food had a general saltiness of the Daytona Salt Flats!!!
We struggled to eat any of it but conceded soon after explaining both the salinity and temperature seemed inappropriate, but was met with. “ oh okay” as they took the dish away.
The menu describes at length the types of cooking styles of steak without ever describing what they provide...T-bone, ribeye, fillet, sirloin, etc, but the waiter merely wrote down it was 1kg or 1.2kg if Aberdeen Italian steak so we ordered a kilo with chips and salad as suggested by the waiter.
We were served a skillet with probably a kilo in it if you include all the bone (of the T-bone, and the accompanying inedible fat around the meat. I have no doubt the residual meat was probably a single portion , and truly unlike to be any better than a good pub chain steak supper in the uk, although they omitted the salad we were promised and the chips were no better than McDonald’s except with extra lashings if the salt they seem to adore!
We shared the steak, eating what we could, and didn’t bother complaint about the lack of salad, nor opted for either desert or coffee, which could have only delayed our longed for departure further.
I’m sure some folk wanting a hunk of rare beef with lashings if salt, and surrounding bovine body fat will love this place...but sadly left my Sardinian experience with a rather bad (if not very salty) taste in my mouth!

If you need to get your meat on while in Cagliari then look no further. Authentic bbq with good beer. The only down point was the beans. Way too salty. This is from someone who appreciates well seasoned food. A good place to get away from pasta and pizza.

The place is ok, not sure about anything else on the menu than steak. They have random cuts, from random countries which is actually quite nice, but because everything was on the bone(very big bone) 800g steaks we've had for both of us wasn't enough for 1 person! And they charge 5€ per 100g, I guess the bone itself was 300-400g! Soooo disappointed, because in the end if you pay for the bone so much, meat it self comes out extremely expensive... definitely will never go back!

Buonasera,

Una COSTATA di manzo ha neccessariamente l’osso, sopratutto da noi, inquanto andiamo a frollarla, appunto in osso, per 30\40gg, e la presenza dell’osso garantisce un sapore migliore alla carne!

Di media l’osso costituisce il 15\20% del peso della costata e quindi su 800gr totali esagerando occuperà 200gr circa.

5 euro all’etto per una bistecca in osso è un prezzo piu che onesto, se non basso, soprattutto dopo il trattamento di frollatura che garantiamo inquanto abbiamo un calo peso che arriva anche al 30% a volte.

Il prezzi non sono dovuti totalmente da una nostra scelta bensì dal mercato della carne, un taglio disossato è sempre piu caro di uno con osso dello stesso tipo!

Per esempio Se dovessimo vendere due tagli uguali, uno con osso e l’altro senza osso i prezzi all’etto potrebbero essere 5E per la prima e 6\7E per la seconda!

In conclusione lei da Pith pagherà una bistecca all’etto, le arriverà con l’osso ma e come se non lo pagasse l’osso!!!
