Description: The pizza - spaghetti house Bari - Napoli born from the passion and experience in the catering industry of Mr. Mastrolonardo. The welcome and hospitality, the pursuit of quality, value for money make the Bari-Napoli gastronomic institution in Bari and Apulia. That of the Neapolitan pizza is a challenge won honors from the family who bravely Mastrolonardo years ago he decided to take the risk of bringing in Bari a different school of thought. The love and passion for cooking, each dish leaving the kitchen Bari-Napoli transmit, pass by almost maniacal search of the best ingredients. The motto that guides the structure is to provide a balanced among the Bari culinary tradition and the school of Neapolitan cuisine.

Visited it at noon - not crowded and many local business people use to have their lunch there - you can trust their choice anyway...

Delicious food made on spot - pizzas are cheap - 6-8 eur for a whole one and they have at least 30 types on the menu. The pasta and the other dishes are very tasty as well. Have not tried their wine list.

The place looks like a homey trattoria and the staff is quite friendly - and yes, they speak mainly Italian - which is normal for Italy:-). The location is on a street right behind the main boulevard Garibaldi and just next to the park of the same name, walking distance from the top center of Bari.

On a Saturday night saw a lot of people outside - seems quite busy at this time - as are most of the places to eat in Bari.
Overall - a very good experience with typical Italian food for a fair price.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. Have excellent pizzas, one of the best we've tasted in bari. Have a wood fired oven and great selection of pizzas and pasta. They also do home made potato crisps, good to have before the pizza

I went here with my wife for dinner while travelling through Bari and it was well worth the visit alone. Highly recommended for celiacs, though the regular pizza is great and cheap too.

My family is from a small town outside of Bari so I am very familiar with terrific tasting food from this region. First of all, make a reservation. They open at 8 PM and by 8:15 the place was full and a line forming on the street in the rain. Fortunately, we had a reservation at the recommendation of a tour guide. Very little English is spoken here as in most establishments in this area and there was no English translation on the menu. The server, who seemed to be the owner, convinced us in broken English to have his special antipasto. Out came a huge basket of homemade bread, a large plate covered with a variety of fresh made mozzarellas and ricottas, and a plate full of various Italian deli meats. The four of us were practically drooling over this appetizer which in itself could have been our whole meal. The server kept going by and since the food was not gone, he did not stop until about the fifth pass when he asked if we didn't like the food! We learned on this trip that the Italians seem slightly offended if you don't finish. It was a bit like that as a child growing up! Anyway, we got our main course of four huge servings, none of which we could finish but did our best to leave as little as possible. The pizza was outstanding, fettuccine with clams in a red sauce was excellent, and spaghetti with sausage and peppers was delightful. The server came by and insisted we have a small taste of dessert, his treat. Out came the best cream puffs I have ever had. All this including two liters of tasty local wine came to 54 euro including tip for four adults. Incredible!

As a celiac it was fantastic to be able to go out and eat a delicious pizza and drink a beer at a reasonable without worry about cross contamination or a lack of flavour.

Would recommend to celiacs and non celiacs alike. Buzzing local pizzeria.
