Picked this restaurant based on friends' recommendations and TA reviews. The place is very central and has a nice, modern ambiance enriched by some traditional elements. Service is good and sufficiently quick, and prices are in line with similar restaurants. The food though did not live up to our expectations. Our starters (the house antipasti selection and the vegetarian plate) were overall unimpressive, with the exception of small panelle (chickpea fritters) and a hot octopus casserole. The first courses were however the real disappointment, tasting very lame, including the typical seafood risotto which is a must on all menus in the region. Can't comment on second courses and desserts as we were full, if let down. Not sure it deserves a second chance...!
