We actually wanted pizza on our last night in Bari and found this restaurant which is way more than a pizza restaurant. It is located near to the castle and Victor Emmanuelle Road at the end of a short ally. Inside is clean and strikingly beautiful. We were seated graciously. We could not stand another 3-4 course extravaganza, although it seemed many of the patrons (mostly locals) were enjoying this. We had a Caprese salad composed of stacked flavorful tomatoes and mozzarella on a base of greens and chopped basil on top. Flavorful. We followed that with a shared Pizza Giampaolo (mushrooms, pork and mozzarella with a small amount of tomato sauce on a thin crust cooked in a wood fired oven) and grilled vegetables. We washed it down with a 10 euro bottle of local red and sparkling water. Very pleasant and staff was nice even though we did not have a huge meal. Note that like other restaurants, there is a table charge of 3 euro per person no matter what, not including any service tip. We left with a 45 euro charge including a 5 euro tip. A really nice send off from Bari.
