Lovely hotel, with very clean and nice rooms. Breakfast was very nice and had a good variety. Beautiful coffee. 20 min by bus to city centre, very easy to get there. super market across the road.recommended

Ten days ago we stayed at hotel Gardenia-Verona. Nice big, clean room, good breakfast ( missing just scrambled eggs ) reasonable price, free underground parking place, polite staff.
Hotel is ca 5km away from Arena and because of a good public transport-bus no worry how to park in the centrum area.
For a 3 star hotel we recommend Gardenia.

.Stayed here for 6 nights in Oct. 2014
Rooms were OK, nice and clean but not anything special/
Breakfast was fine but not a big variety(no eggs etc.)
The family that runs the hotel were very nice and tried to help us with whatever we needed.
Parking lot is big.
The hotel is not close to verona center but it's a 5 minute drive away.
Great choice for a base hotel for northern Italy sight seeing!

The lady at reception was friendly and spoke perfect English. She gave us details of bus times into town and where to catch the bus, 3 minutes walk from the hotel. I had used Google Maps to get details of the bus to the hotel - I wish I had just emailed the Gardenia!
Our room was fine, the bathroom was clean, though the shower does need a refresh. The air-conditioning was good & quiet.
The breakfast was excellent - a cold buffet with plenty of choice and good coffee. Breakfast stays open until 10:30 which allows for a relaxing start to the day. Definitely the best breakfast spread I've experienced in Italy.
The hotel is a bit out of town, but only 25 minutes by bus, and worth the extra effort.
The only negative: WiFi speeds were mixed depending on the device used. Perfect on iPhones but slow on my iPad.
There is a limited choice for dining nearby. We discovered Trattoria Antonio & Rita, about a 15 minute walk towards the city centre. It was excellent. We ate there on 2 of our 3 nights in Verona.

Perfect hotel, they are clean, helpful, high level accommodation in great prices! Highly recommended. Close to supermarket, close to Loundry shop and 5 km away from the arena. It has free parking underground and it is great for motorbikes. It is quiet without mosquito.
