Photos were a false economy, everything in the hotel is a money maker! Spa - extra 15 euros, towel 2 euros. Hotel also has the most ridiculous policy ever not allowing any food or drink from outside - including water! In a country where we can't use the tap water this was ludicrous! However it's fine to purchase off them. When challenged on the policy the staff were rude and did not show any empathy. We were informed this is for hygiene purposes. I have travelled round the world and never encountered this policy before.

Apart from the money making element of the hotel the Standard room was the size of a box. 100 channels but nothing English. No pressure from the tap, while Hotel tired looking!

On top of this its not near the town and is actually an area that felt unsafe to walk around at night with people hanging around on corners.

Do not recommend, do not book, not worth the money. Definitely no 4 star!

Prices of our extra services are well explained on our web site. There is an extra fee for Spa, and we rent towel for the pool. When going to the sea you take your towels and not the hotel ones, right?
Tap water is perfectly drinkable.
We offer hotel service and not pic-nic service, will you go to a restaurant or bar, sit down and open your-own food and beverages? Residences with food preparation corner are the right places if you plan for any reason to provide food preparation.
Do you usually set up lunch and dinner in bedroom at home?
There are more than 1000 tv channels, many of them English speaking, if unable to find with the remote control, is possible to aks for help from reception.
I find very difficult people able to write on TA are not able to have a look on Maps to check position of the hotel. The area is safe and we had any problem with guest and residential people in the last 20 years.
I understand the problem is not in the star number of the hotel, but in the fact we have to set up policies in the past obvius and not-necessary among 4 star guest.
Best Regards

The staff was generally rude, we had adjoining rooms with a door that locks to the hallway. We arrived, left our rooms open, and locked the outside door with a hanging do not disturb sign. When we returned the outside door was open and our rooms were locked. This is not an e-key facility. The locks are keyed and attached to large and heavy medallions. My pain medicine was stolen, the shower didn't work when we returned and they had to repair it. The toilet seat was broken and never repaired. There was a rainstorm one night and the roof over the walkway to breakfast and the pool leaked horribly and smelled like moldy sheet rock for our breakfast in the morning. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY, IT IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST WE'VE EVER BEEN A "GUEST"!!!!

With 40 degree temperature on our arrival pool was fantastica! Quiet location and handy for Verona city centre - bus route immediately outside hotel, plus free transfers in the evenings to and from arena, for the opera.

Stayed here for four nights on way from Venice to Milan - good stopover point to explore the city and countryside nearby, including Lake Garda. Loved Verona, especially the old town, but watch out for expensive piazza restaurants - you pay for people-watching.

Staff friendly and very helpful, great continental breakfast and room facilities good, with jacuzzi bath, drenching shower and modern room furnishings. For me, only drawback was the bed, which although generously sized, was too hard for my liking, but it may suit your back.

Location is in a quiet part of Verona, a bit further out of the centre than expected, but buses were fine, and taxis cheap. Hotel has a conference feel to it, a bit impersonal, and the pool area is cramped. Staff were eager to help. Room was comfortable and clean. Overall overpriced for what it offered, but it was the height of the Opera season.
