Owner description: Relive the tragic story of Shakespeare's unhappy lovers by visiting some of Verona's fortified houses built at that time, including the homes of both Romeo and Juliet.

Nice place to see. Small terrace in front of the balcony with the statue of Julietta where you could take pictures. Did not enter inside the building itself.

Disappointing and crowded. It was part of our group tour so we were led in like countless others. There are other things to do in Verona than this shakespearean-disney experience!

That's about it. There is nothing amazing or special about the place... in fact, it was more of a let down seeing the balcony surrounded by a graffitied out cove. Just average.

To be honest it was very disappointing, our guide insisted that we saw it, you could not enter the house, just take a photo and move on

The story of Romeo and Juliet is probably fictional, but the legend is a good excuse to draw tourists to this symbol of eternal love and romance. However, this building is not interesting and is not worth the walk. Verona is so beautiful that it is adviable to walk in the other parts.
