Pasta made in front of you, albeit by machine - but don’t let this turn you off. Around ten sauces you can choose from. We had the Norma (eggplant, tomato, ricotta) and the Anchovy (anchovies, onion, EVOO). Highly recommend.

This is a modern take on fresh and delicious pasta, with the dishes served as fast food. It was quick and tasty ;and it’s moments away from the Arco dei Gavi, so, if you want to, you can take your takeaway for a stroll and eat it beside the beautiful, reconstructed Roman gate.

I live now in another country, but Verona is still my home city. When waking in the center normally you can only find unnecessary expensive restaurants, or low level fast foods. Today I was surprised to see a small booth offering just in time hand made pasta in one of the really major pedestrian roads of the center.
The most typical hand made pasta of Verona is exactly the "bigoli" (a very thick sort of spaghetti), which is here offered with several different sausages: matriciana, carbonara, ragù, duck ragù, pesto and even more.
The booth is classified as take away, so do not expect a real table to sit (ok, a couple of high seats are available inside) but the quality of the food you will get its unbeatable, and probably the price as well.
I personally went for "pesto" which was excellent. For sure I will come back next time, hoping that in the meantime they will organize the full recipe of the most typical Verona dish : "i bigoli al ragù d'asino" (bigoli with donkey ragù). I cannot find this recipe anymore here around: that's probably the most tasty hand made pasta existing.
Take a try: it worths the money!!

Great street food for only 6 euros. The pasta was perfectly cooked and all of the sauces we tried were great.
