We needed a hotel for a one-night stay at the end of our cruise and found this fairly nice hotel. Though a bit off the beaten path and a bit confusing to find, it was still fairly central, especially if you're good at navigating the Vaporetto. We checked in during a heat wave (over 95 degrees Fahrenheit) and discovered that the A/C wasn't working. Our hostess was very accommodating and immediately switched us into one of the large apartments - one bedroom, living room, small kitchen and bath, obviously a much more expensive room, but no additional charge was requested. However, the A/C unit couldn't handle this large space, so we were still pretty uncomfortable. One other issue, there's no one who stays on-site, so if you need anything late at night or early in the morning, there's no one to assist. So, not perfect, but definitely a place to consider at a very reasonable price. Also, there's a really terrific restaurant right nearby on the canal.

Room Tip: The rooms are all good, the apartment was especially large and comfortable.

Really a good place to stay in a quiet and traditional place in Venice! You will feel yourself part of the neighborhood specially if you go to the restaurants in the area and walk around. The apt is comfortable, the staff very amiable, nice breakfast. I guess this is the place I will keep on coming to stay in my next visits to Venice.

We stayed for two nights at the Ca` Fontanea (Ca means house) at Late April and it was a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was OK, not super. Room was very clean. Location is great right next to "Tre Archi" Vaporeto station and a few minutes walking through picturesque brigdes to main train station.

We got the room at the top floor which was very spacious and had a terrace of it`s own overlloking the university. Stairs to that room was kind off steep for a family with a strawler and a toddler. For venice it was a good price (110 eur per night) and i would reccomend. If Breakfast was better i would highly reccomend.

My wife and I needed a room in Venice near the train station and was able to book on-line. It was easy to find after a short walk. Only hitch in the beginning was that the office closed at 1:30 pm and we arrived after. On the door there was a note saying to type in the secret code provided in the e-mail they sent......no code was in the e-mail. We had to contact the booking agent who contacted the hotel personnel and eventually we were allowed entry. The room was quite nice......except it was quite humid that day and the air conditioner barely put out any cool air. At night we had to open the only window with a screen (which did not close entirely) and mosquitos got through. A mosquito net was provided around the bed, but it still was quite warm till it cooled off by the next morning. Wifi signal was excellent and an excellent breakfast was available in the morning.

I read some pervious reviews before book but did not expect that there is a apartment not a hotel. No breakfast offers as on advertise on TripAdvisor!
Big room with kitchen area and sofa.
In the room was clean! But my room was very old I have to say. The pillow is very flat one each for person. Sheet is very thin. We did not sleep well sadly.
The hot water keeps turning boiling or turning cold, there was not warm water, it need to be fixed.

Staff there was friendly and helpful but barely speak english. Went to wrong place as her advise.

From train station 15-20 mins walk. Not good if you carry suitcase. Up and down stairs on the way to hotel. Travel by boat would be recommended.
