We stayed here in March and it is a beautiful hotel, we paid extra for a Grand Canal view. It was for my very special birthday and following our stay we were leaving Venice by Venice Simplon Orient Express. Our travel agent who organised the whole trip specifically asked them to have some bubbles awaiting me as we arrived by private water taxi, but it didn't happen, what a shame, it would have just been lovely. ( I have read on Trip Advisor it has happened for other travellers and they have received their welcome bubbles so I am pleased for them.)

Location, location, location. In the center of Venice, right on the Grand Canal. An easy walk to everything. The rooms are a good size, comfortable bedding and all the necessary amenities. Breakfast is a variety of fruits, cheeses, cereals, muffins, eggs, bacon and potatoes, everything you need to start your day. Service is simply outstanding. The front desk will arrange for transport and suggest good places to eat depending on your preference. There is a bar in the hotel, again excellent service. They set up a few tables outside so you can have a drink in the afternoon and watch the activity on the canal. Best of all is the rooftop terrace. A place to sit and relax in peace and quiet with a spritz. An oasis after a full day walking in Venice away from the crowds. We loved sipping coffee in the early morning as well. Rooms were cleaned early and they also had turn down service in the evening where they would refresh the towels and leave candies on the pillow along with a printout of the next day's weather report. Super helpful for planning the next days activities. Everything in this hotel is well thought out to maximize the guests enjoyment and it feels like no request is too much trouble. Perfect choice.

We stayed here on our first ever visit to Venice. We found the hotel excellent, the staff very attentive and the accommodations excellent. We had a room with a canal view and greatly enjoyed watching boats and gondolas move up and down the channel. It was very close to great restaurants and shopping.

We stayed two nights and found the location very good for visiting - not a long walk from the train station, not in the middle on congestion, but also not hard to walk to the places of interest such as St Mark's Square. Breakfast was included, and there a plenty of options to choose from, meats cheeses, eggs, cereals. Rooms are smaller sized, which is par for the course, but modern and clean.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a list of recommended restaurants which resulted in a very good dinner nearby.

Late on the review: We stayed here for 2 nights. Loved the location. We got the private water taxi there and back to train station. Much easier than the public which was very crowded and we didn't wanna drag our bags through the crowds. We had a canal view room. It was nice, modern but really the view is worth the upgrade. Hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and we have friends that are staying there next month. We will stay there again as well! Room 101 is what we had if I remember correctly.
