Nice and clean apartment. With in walking distance to many Churches and Restaurants. Will recommend to friends and family.
Great location. The apartment was perfect for our needs and had an updated kitchen. The owner was very responsive.
This little apartment has many good reviews, so I was surprised to find upon arriving that this was not the case. It was not inexpensive at E705 for 3 nights. Davide is so nice and helpful that it's quite difficult to be honest about the apartment without hurting his feelings.
This is a 1 bedroom apartment (with en-suite bathroom) and 2 double sleeper sofa's at the front door and living room alcove. I can't imagine how to fit 6 people in it, since it was a squeeze with 4. As the apartment, furniture and decor is heavy, dark and dated, it makes it feel a little grimy. The bathroom is off the main bedroom and the shower stall was really tiny, like super small.
The apartment would benefit from a some investment to modernise it and bring it into this century. The walls all need fresh painting, and it needs new good quality, crisp white bed linen, new pillows, bath towels, duvets, and new bright and light curtains and furniture. The kitchen utensils, the pots and pans, cooking knives, chopping boards, plates and bowls, knives and forks are all well worn, mismatched, and not great quality. There were a few light bulbs not working which made it even darker. The wifi was terrible despite repeated rebooting. The bathroom and kitchen were old and dated. In terms of location it is a little out of the way and a fair walk to Rialto, St. Marks etc where it is all happening.
Perfect location in central Venice, close to main viewing sites but in a quiet street. The flat in itself is nice and clean and has what you need for a short stay in this lovely city. Thanks again to Davide for the nice stay!
