We were staying in the area and wanted a bite to eat in a casual atmosphere - the Corner pub delivered. They have 5 different versions of the spritz for 3Euro/drink. After trying most of them, we’d recommend sticking with the classic Aperol version.
As others have mentioned, the front is very small (about 5 seats outside and a very small bar area) but there were 10 tables in the back of the bar (with one 2 person table overlooking the canal). The menu is posted outside above the bar so you can review it before going inside if needed.
Service was quick and friendly - probably the best we had during our whole stay in Venice. The bartender was also waiting the tables so that made it even more surprising.
There are sandwiches pre-made in the case but we had the cannelloni and gnocchi (both vegetarian) for dinner. They were both very good and inexpensive 8.9Euro/entree.
We would definitely recommend this place.
