We had a really nice time here, it looks like a cafe but the food is delicious. Worth the walk and i had gnocchi with orange duck. The staff were really friendly and i would recommend to go. We were here as a family (14 year old son)

My wife and I are huge foodies, so we set out on an adventure to find a delicious restaurant on our own. Normally we ask hotel staff for good local spots, but I trusted my instincts and Trip Advisor reviews.

We were led here to Impronta by the looks and descriptions of all the menu items. We started with the Chefs Mixed Fish Appetizer which had great presentation! About 4 out of 6 samples were very tasty, and 2 we didn't care for. For entrees I got the Black Noodles with Seafood in Tomato Sauce which I loved! And my wife had the Duck Leg with Seasonal Purée and Violet Potato Chips, also delish but much more rich than a savory dish.

The wait staff was very polite and made sure they checked on is to see if everything was going well. I'm a little upset I didn't get to try the Suckling Pig dish, sounds so good and right up my alley!

The place is a bit small inside and unassuming, but give it a shot! I don't think you will regret it if you're into lots of flavors.

Visiting from US. This was an amazing meal. Relaxed and delicious. Waiter was great, very nice, spoke English politely with us and served everything efficiently - but without any rush. Highly recommended for any travelers. My wife and I each had a starter and a primo course with bottled water and simple bottle of white wine for under 100 Euro, but there are plenty more decadent food and wine choices if you wanted. We intended to save room for dessert and espresso, but just simply we were too full and happy already. It was just simply terrific.

Starters were larger than expected and the primo portions of pasta also good size. The black noodles in seafood sauce was amazing. My wife had gnocchi in duck ragu over puree of spinach.

Highly, highly, highly recommended.

Nice place with good food, good environment and good service. Tried the fried squid and prawns which is nice, plus there are still non sea-food options for kids. Portions for pasta and mains are large and enough to share.

Typical local dishes but beautifully presented, high quality fresh ingredients, helpful staff. A modern take on the identical menus presented everywhere else in Venice. Busy in the lunch hour but then quickly quietened down when everyone went back to work. Easy to find on one of the shopping streets behind San Marco. Well worth a visit for something a bit above the ordinary, and very reasonably priced.
