Simply put, it really does feel like staying with a friend in Venice! Emanuele's home is absolutely gorgeous and cozy. Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood at the end of Calle Priuli dei Cavalletti, it's only a 5min walk to the Santa Lucia train station and a 10min walk to Piazzale Roma bus station. There's a vaporetto stop just in front of Calle Priuli dei Cavalletti as well.

We owe our trip to the gracious care and kindness of Emanuele's mother, Daniela who made sure we settled down comfortably (She runs her own B&B Al Gallion too). The map and customized advice on itineraries from Daniela was more than enough to enjoy Venice thoroughly! Daniela prepares great breakfast spread and coffee too!

I was there for the 2011 mask carnival opening ceremony, the owner provided very clear directions for his hotel and it's easy to find.

I spent 3 nights here in September and came away impressed. The owner Emanuele is so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. He will provide you with a map and suggestions on sights to see and places to eat while in Venice. His recommendations are spot on. Whenever we went to one of his suggested places we came away impressed. When we ventured and selected places on our own, we were underwhelmed.

The rooms are inside his flat and is spotless. Each room is super clean, the beds comfortable and each with nicely appointed bathrooms. Each morning Emanuele will serve you a nice breakfast, oftentimes with homemade pastries that are excellent. The location is also top notch.

The B&B is only a short 5 minute walk from the train station. When you see other people lugging their luggage around the bridges and stairs of Venice, you will be glad about how easy it was to get to Alla Vera Da Pozzo.

If you are looking for a large hotel, this is not the place for you. But if you would like to stay with a friendly, outgoing local in a clean and comfortable place, this is the place to go. I cannot recommend this enough, we had so much fun and really enjoyed our stay.

For a very convenient location and a super friendly host and excellent pricing, this is the best place to stay. Just 5 minutes from the actiivity in Venice. If he keeps this up, Emmanuele will go far and acquire lots of satisfied customers.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in Venice, but what made it most special was the hospitality of our host, Emanuelle, and the convenient location of his B&B. Because of the location, we had great acces to the vaporetto, trains and bus station, and were able to make the most of our time in Venice. This B&B is a great value and immaculate. My husband and I highly recommend this B&B.
